This Preorder Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions of placing a preorder for the Sinbad aircraft kit, developed and distributed by GRAD Aeronaut LLC (“Company”, “we”, “our”). By placing a preorder through our website, you (“Customer”) agree to the following terms.
1. Purpose of PreorderPlacing a preorder does not constitute a binding purchase agreement. It serves to:
- confirm the Customer’s interest in the project,
- allow participation in the early access program,
- establish the Customer’s position in the production queue.
The Company reserves the right to update technical specifications, kit configuration, delivery schedule, and participation conditions. The Customer will be notified of such changes in advance.
2. Kit Composition and SpecificationThe preorder applies to an
incomplete aircraft structure, supplied as a set of components intended for self-assembly (aircraft kit).
The final configuration of the kit may be adjusted as part of the ongoing development and refinement of the aircraft design.
The Company confirms that the kit:
- is not a certified aircraft,
- does not include: the engine and its supporting systems, propeller, wheels, ballistic recovery system, lighting equipment, painting/finishing, or avionics — unless explicitly specified,
- is intended for full assembly, testing, and flight evaluation by the Customer.
Delivery of the kit outside the State of Delaware is not included in the price and shall be arranged and paid for separately by the Customer.3. Participation in the Preorder Program- Upon preorder, the Customer is assigned a status (Explorer / Pioneer / Founder / Visionary), depending on the selected participation level.
- Preorder participation secures a position in the production sequence and grants access to the benefits described on the website.
- All matters related to payment refundability are governed by a separate document: the Refund Policy, available on the website.
4. Production Schedule and NotificationsKit production is scheduled to begin in mid-2026; first shipments are expected in late 2026.
The Customer agrees that all updates, projected timelines, order status changes, and relevant project news will be communicated
exclusively through the personal information page on [gradaeronaut.com].
The Customer is responsible for reviewing this page regularly for the latest information. The Company may, but is not obligated to, provide individual notifications via email, phone, or mail.
5. Responsibility and Disclaimer- The Company is not responsible for the quality of assembly, airworthiness, or legal registration of the completed aircraft.
- The Customer bears full responsibility for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and aviation regulations in their country, including inspections, flight testing, and approvals.
- The Company reserves the right to decline a preorder without explanation. In such cases, the full preorder amount will be refunded.
6. Governing LawThis Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
